It brings together AI experts from the fields of philosophy, science, politics, economics, technology, and journalism, who probe this multifaceted phenomenon by offering their interpretations and engaging in dialogue. The discussion is part of the “Aristotle meets AI” framework, engaging with Aristotelian philosophy under the conditions of the algorithmic age.
Artificial Intelligence and the digital revolution are certain to be central forces of the 21st century. The opportunities and threats they generate will profoundly reshape our world in the decades to come. They will confront humanity with some of the greatest challenges (political, ethical, ontological) it has ever faced. This Round Table seeks to identify the most critical among these, as AI invites us to reflect on contemporary technology not only in technological terms, but also in philosophical and political ones.

Women of the Diaspora in the Age of AI: Strengthening Global Hellenism Through Intelligent Networks
Inspired by the ancient Greek symposium, where dialogue, philosophy and civic responsibility unfolded around the table, the Food For Thought Network (FFTN) was founded 25 years ago as a contemporary space for inspiration, connection and learning. Through voluntary leadership and values-driven events supporting women’s progress, FFTN has created enduring spaces for thoughtful exchange grounded in Hellenic tradition.
Rooted in Hellenic values and sustained entirely through voluntary contribution, FFTN has amplified women’s voices across generations, professions and borders, transforming conversation into cultural and social impact. From intimate gatherings to global forums, it has demonstrated the power of sustained dialogue as a catalyst for leadership, inclusion and belonging.
Following its 2024 Inaugural Global Women and Hellenism Conference, FFTN explores how Artificial Intelligence can strengthen global connections among Hellenic women, map diaspora communities, inspire collaboration, and boost leadership. AI is seen not as a replacement for human relationships, but as a tool to deepen ties, preserve identity, and share intergenerational wisdom.
Drawing from Aristotle’s belief in collective knowledge and dialogue, FFTN seeks to leverage intelligent technologies to empower, protect heritage, and foster international cooperation, all grounded in Hellenic values. AI helps FFTN become what it has always aspired to be: a global symposium of women’s voices, wisdom, and innovation.

Greek Language in Times of Crisis and Digital Dominance
In the presentation titled “Greek Language in Times of Crisis and Digital Dominance,” the position and role of the Greek language are examined in an era of successive trials and crises (economic/memorandum, refugee, pandemic, climate, energy, etc.), as well as a deeper cultural crisis, within a context of digital dominance. Special reference is made to the resemanticization of the content and meanings of words, aiming at manipulation and imposition. Furthermore, the influences affecting the Greek language in the environment of globalization, the intensive use of social media, and broader technological expansion are discussed. The challenges and opportunities created by the digital era for the dissemination, teaching, and strengthening of linguistic heritage are highlighted. The importance of cultivating critical thinking is emphasized, particularly in relation to literacy and the critical interpretation of texts, especially within the public sphere. Finally, in the pursuit of innovation, ways are proposed through which the Greek language can remain alive, creative, and dynamic in the contemporary global environment.
