Anastasiou Eleftheria-Maria
Team Leader of iGEM Thessaly
Eleftheria Anastasiou is a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology at the University of Thessaly. She has developed a strong academic foundation in molecular biology, genetics, and bioengineering, complemented by a growing interest in interdisciplinary research and synthetic biology. This year, she serves as the Team Leader of the iGEM Thessaly team, where she is responsible for coordinating all aspects of project development. Her role includes guiding the experimental design, and ensuring the meaningful integration of human practices into the overall project. She works closely with different sub-teams to maintain scientific consistency and foster collaboration across disciplines.
