Fokion Tasoulas
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of European Innovation Solutions SA
Fokion Tasoulas has had a distinguished career in the cement and mining industries, holding a variety of technical, managerial, and executive positions globally.
He worked for Titan Cement Group from 1989 until December 2023, serving in multiple leadership roles.
Since 2017, he was a member of the Group Executive Committee, and from October 2020 to December 2022, he held the position of Group Innovation and Technology Director. In this role, he led Digital Transformation initiatives, focusing on asset optimization and reliability improvements through AI and big data analytics.
Before that, he served for 12 years as Group Engineering and Technology Director, overseeing major technical advancements across Titan’s operations. His previous roles within the company also included:
• Regional Director for Egypt, Albania, and Kosovo, with full P&L responsibilities for those countries.
• Vice President, Cement and Aggregates Operations, Titan America, overseeing cement and aggregates operations at the Pennsuco plant (Medley, Florida) and providing technical oversight for the Roanoke cement plant (Roanoke, Virginia).
On December 31, 2023, he resigned from Titan Cement and, as of January 2, 2024, assumed the role of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors at P. Samaras Mining Group up to December 31, 2025.
On January 1st 2026, he assumed the role of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of European Innovation Solutions SA, leading the Defense Strategy of the company
In parallel, he founded (Jan 2024) PHI TAF Consulting, offering strategic advisory services to clients in Europe, the USA, and Canada.
He is also the cofounder of UCANDRONE S.A., established in 2013, one of the first Unmanned Vehicle manufacturing companies in Greece.
Fokion Tasoulas holds a Master’s degree in Mining and Metallurgical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in Greece.
