Professor Dr. YIN Dongmei was appointed Chair of the University Council of Shanghai International Studies University in December 2023. Prior to this, she held the position of Deputy Chair of the University Council of Fudan University from September 2013 to December 2023. Also, she served a temporary position of Secretary of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Youth League from October 2016 to November 2018
