Eri Toka
President of Noesis
Eri Toka has a strong academic and professional background in engineering, innovation, and technology transfer. She holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, with her doctoral research focusing on supply chain management in the energy sector.
Her professional career is closely linked to the support of research and the valorisation of knowledge. Since 2020, she has served as Head of the Technology Transfer Office of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while since 2016 she had been working at the university’s Special Account for Research Funds, contributing to the design and implementation of research projects. Earlier in her career, she served as General Director of the Hellenic Logistics Association of Northern Greece.
In parallel, she has developed substantial research activity in fields such as innovation, technology diffusion, technology marketing, and public policy, participating in numerous research projects and scientific publications. Her work has received international recognition, including the “Best Young Researcher on Biomass” award at the World Sustainable Energy Days. She is also an active member of scientific and professional bodies, including the Technical Chamber of Greece, and participates in international networks, among them initiatives of the International Chamber of Commerce.
