Evi Chatzianandreou
Scientific Director at the Nao Longevity Hub of Bluegr Hotels
Evi Chatzianandreou, a member of the Healthy Longevity Medicine Society and a co-founding member of the Hellenic Institute for Healthy Longevity, is Scientific Director at the Nao Longevity Hub of Bluegr Hotels. She is a graduate of the Athens Medical School and holds postgraduate degrees (Master’s and PhD) in Public Health (Epidemiology and Health Policy and Management) from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
She has worked across a wide spectrum of the health sector—health policy, health insurance and care, health service delivery, and management—in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Greece, in the public and private sectors as well as in non-profit organizations. Her professional experience includes senior positions at the Ministry of Health (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) and the U.S. Congress, as well as roles in multinational and Greek companies. She also served as Director of the Health and Healthcare Studies Division at the international organization RAND Europe, part of the RAND Corporation.
She was a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), a Lecturer at the Harvard School of Public Health, and a Visiting Professor at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University. She has published studies in international journals on prevention, management, and the economic evaluation of health programs and services.
From 2000 to 2003, she served as Deputy Governor of IKA with responsibility for the health sector, and from 2009 to 2012 as Advisor to the Ministry of Education on Research, Technology, and Innovation. She has also served as Scientific Advisor to the Big Pi Venture Capital Fund and is an Associate Professor at Hellenic American University.
