Apostolos E. Papalois
Apostolos E. Papalois President of the Scientific Council, Biomedical Research and Education Special Unit, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Medicine (Bd: July 22nd, 1968). High School, Varvakeion Model School. Graduated from the Department of Biology, University of Athens in 1991 and he holds a PhD degree in biology – biochemistry from the University of Athens in close collaboration with the University of Cambridge, Department of Surgery. His personal training abroad from 1991, contains University of Minnesota, University of Cambridge, University of Boston, University of California Los Angeles and also special training courses (Transplantation, Laboratory Animal Science. Courses, Leadership – Harvard). Teaching duties in pre – and post - graduate level in Universities of Athens, Thessaloniki, West Attica, Alexandroupolis -Thrace and Patras, after official academic appointment. Visiting Professor (University of Ioannina, Greece, Timisoara, Romania, San Antonio, Texas and Harvard Medical School three times). Totally 360 publications in international peer review journals. From January 2021, he is General Secretary of NASCE / UEMS, (European Union of Medical Specialists – UEMS – NASCE - Network of Accredited Clinical Skills Centres), the official scientific representative of almost 2.000.000 MDs in the European Union. Re-election 2025 for 4 more years. NASCE is the official branch of UEMS for the accreditation of Clinical Skills Centers, Continuing Education and Development of Guidelines for Training.
