Parthenopi Pantelidou

Dr. Parthenopi Pantelidou, RN, PHS, MPH, MHCM, PhD, is Director of Nursing Services at AHEPA University General Hospital in Thessaloniki, Greece (since 10/2022). She holds a PhD in Clinical Nursing from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, along with Master’s degrees in Public Health and in Healthcare Management and Organization, and is specialized in Public Health/Community Nursing. She is fluent in English and Italian.
With over 25 years of professional experience in clinical practice, she has held senior leadership roles across the Greek healthcare system since 2019, including Head of the Public Health Directorate at the 4th Regional Health Authority of Macedonia and Thrace and Nurse Manager of a major internal medicine department, bringing extensive experience in healthcare administration, clinical operations, and infection prevention and control.
She, also, currently serves as an elected Board Member of the 2nd Regional Department of the Hellenic Nurses Association and holds the position of President of the First Joint Service Council of the 4th Regional Health Authority of Macedonia and Thrace, contributing to strategic decision-making and policy development in the healthcare sector.
Dr. Pantelidou also has a strong academic and teaching background, having taught undergraduate nursing courses and contributed to the education and training of healthcare professionals across Greece. Her research and publications focus on healthcare-associated infections, quality of care, and nursing competencies, actively contributing to national and international initiatives in these fields.
