Katerina Tsapikidou
Director of International Relations Service Thessaloniki, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
An experienced diplomat and international relations professional with a strong background in multilateral affairs, political advisory, and foreign policy. Currently serving as Director at the International Relations Service of Thessaloniki (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Political Advisor at NRDC-Greece since 2022.
Previously held senior roles at the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Embassy Counselor and Head of Unit for the Council of Europe during the Greek Chairmanship (2017–2021). Served abroad as Consul of Greece in New Delhi (2011–2016) and held diplomatic postings in Beijing, as well as various positions within UN and international organizations directorates.
Active member of ICC Women Hellas (Diplomacy Cluster) since 2019.
Holds an MSc in American Studies from the University of Piraeus in cooperation with New York University (2023), a Master’s degree in International Politics (Cum Laude) from Université de Paris XI, and a BSc in Public Administration from Panteion University. Additional training includes studies at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna and the Hellenic MFA Diplomatic Academy.
Fluent in Greek, English, and French, with strong command of German and Italian, and working knowledge of Hindi and Arabic.
Interests include tennis, horse riding, yoga, shoe design, and organizing cultural events.
