At the heart of the film: a 14-year-old Cambodian girl, representing a generation. Through virtual reality, she enters the story of Yathay Pin, a father who survived the Khmer Rouge. As she walks in his footsteps-his mental prison, his impossible choice, his atonement-generations collide an inherited silence and heal.
